W3HAC Weekly Net

Posted by on December 18, 2014

The K3VOA ARC has given us a green light for a weekly net on their VHF repeater, Tuesday nights at 8pm. This repeater seems to have the best coverage and be the most reliable in DC.

Here is the info:

When: Tuesdays 8pm
Frequency: 147.045+ (input frequency 147.645)
PL Tone: None

Purposes of the W3HAC net:
– To exchange announcements related to the radio club;
– To practice effective formal net operations by rotating the net control role;
– To publicize our group and answer questions from hams interested in joining our club, attending our events, operating our station in contests and testing for radio licensure at our club;
– To discuss topics circulated in advance of interest to our membership.
