Join us in the Nation’s Capital for the biggest Amateur Radio outdoor operating event of the year!
The HacDC Amateur Radio Club will be operating an ARRL Field Day station on the grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) in Washington, DC. Event setup begins on Friday June 23, and we will begin operating on Saturday June 24, at 2pm. The event continues for a full 24 hours of operating time until Sunday afternoon on June 26th.
Be sure to follow the W3HAC Reflector for the latest news pertaining to this event!
Same as last year, our club will be operating in the picnic area near the AFRH golf course in a Northwestern portion of the grounds. We will be running several stations operating on multiple bands for the full duration of event. There will be food, beverages, station shelters, restrooms, 24-hour access, and participants are invited to stay overnight!
